Tony Cargle

Missions Pastor

Pastor Tony accepted Christ at age 16 but didn't really begin to follow Him until around the age of 20. In his early 20's, he and his wife Teresa, began to sense a call into missions but ignored that call. Life became busier and while still active in the church, he no longer felt drawn towards missions, as he once had. It wasn't until his 30's, during a revival service where he rededicated his life to Christ, that he felt the call once again. This time however, he answered that call. A year or so into that, Tony once again felt a call from God, this time it was to "get my hands dirty" as he puts it. He sensed that God was leading him to be one of the sent. This call lead to several short term mission trips over the next decade to places such as Haiti, Bangladesh, India and the Navajo Nation. In his late 40's, he began to feel God move him in another direction, this time it was locally. During a discussion with his wife, they shared that God had laid it on each of their hearts that their ministry needed to be right here in their own community as well. Tony has been the missions pastors at Casey White Oak since 2014.
